Several authors will appear at the Archipelago Books Fall Fête. Join in on Thursday, Sept. 24 at the Wythe Hotel from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. (Brooklyn, N.Y.)

Writer Elizabeth Gilbert will celebrate the release of her new nonfiction book, Big Magic: Creative Living Beyond Fear, at the Brooklyn Academy of Music. Hear her on Thursday, Sept. 24 starting 7:30 p.m. (Brooklyn, N.Y.)

Children’s books author Paul Czajak will celebrate the release of his latest picture book, entitled Monster Needs Your Vote, at Books of Wonder. Meet him on Saturday, Sept. 26 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. (New York, N.Y.)

Four writers will sit for a chat at the Thalia Book Club about Elena Ferrante’s Neapolitan novels. Check it out on Monday, Sept. 28 at Symphony Space starting 7:30 p.m. (New York, N.Y.)
