As card catalogs go digital, the craft market has been flooded with outdated library card stock. We’ve uncovered more than 200 library card themed goodies on the arts and crafts website, Etsy.

You should surf all the strange and wonderful art, but we’ve collected a few of our favorites: Library Card Stock Necklace, Foaming Tentacular Spectacular Library Cards and Pockets, and the Boston Readers Bookish Paperweight.

Here’s more about the Tentacular Spectacular (pictured): ” Set of 10 real library cards and pockets screen printed with this foaming dark teal green octopus on both the pocket and the coordinating card. Ex libris means “from the library of” and these could be used simply as decorative bookplates as well as a personal lending library kit or as a special giftcard pocket when you give a book as a gift. They come with pre-backed, super strong adhesive- just peel and stick!”

We’ve been on a library-love kick this summer. Check out our Best Library People on Twitter directory or our readers’ spirited defense of libraries from last week.
