The Lambda Literary Foundation has announced the winners of the 23rd Annual Lambda Literary Awards.
More than four hundred people attended the ceremony at the School of Visual Arts Theater in New York City. Some of the celebrity guests included former governor Jim McGreevey, beauty queen Claire Buffie, and photographer Amos Mac.
Here’s more from the release: “Among the winners were Eileen Myles’s Inferno (A Poet’s Novel) which took the top honor in Lesbian Fiction and Adam Haslett’s Union Atlantic in Gay Fiction. There were two ties as well, an unusual occurrence for the Awards, in the Lesbian Memoir category as well as in LGBT Studies.” Follow the jump to see the full list of winners.
