Joss Whedon (GalleyCat)Joss Whedon will write the story for issue #7 of the Captain America: Sam Wilson series. He is the director and screenwriter behind two Marvel movies: The Avengers (2012) and The Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015).

Entertainment Weekly reports that John Cassaday will serve as the artist. Marvel Comics plans to celebrate the 75th anniversary of this Marvel superhero with this book.

Here’s more from The Guardian: “Captain America appeared in the first issue of Captain America Comics in 1941, when his alter ego Steve Rogers took a super-soldier serum ‘to become America’s one-man army’ and fight the Nazis. The mantle of protecting America has not only fallen to Rogers, however: Sam Wilson, AKA the superhero Falcon and one of the one of the first African-American superheroes, took on the role in 2014.”

The release date has been scheduled for March 30. (via io9)
