The Joslyn Art Museum is currently hosting the “David (Shannon) Goes to the Museum” exhibit.
Within the literary community, Shannon (pictured, via) has become known as a Caldecott Honor-winning children’s books illustrator. Some of the pieces on display come from the following picture books: Pirates Don’t Change Diapers, Too Many Toys, and Robot Zot!.
According to the organization’s website, the opening date for this exhibition has been scheduled for October 1. The closing date has been set for December 31.
