Jona Xiao has landed a role in Spider-Man: Homecoming. At this point in time, Sony Pictures has not announced the character that she will play.
According to Vanity Fair, Tom Holland will has signed on to portray the web-slinging superhero in this film adaptation. He has already appeared as Spider-Man in the Captain America: Civil War movie.
Variety reports that other members of the cast include Marisa Tomei, Michael Keaton, Zendaya, Donald Glover, and Hannibal Buress. The theatrical release date has been set for July 28, 2017. (via Comic Book Resources)
