Joe Mangan Named EVP/Chief Operating Officer of Hachette

joemanganJoe Mangan will join the Hachette Book Group (HBG) as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer on February 3.

Mangan comes to HBG from Perseus Books where he has spent the last decade at Chief Operating Officer.

Prior to joining Perseus Mangan served as a managing director at Razorfish, as well as a principal at Booz Allen Hamilton, according to his LinkedIn page. “I am excited about the new challenges and opportunities that joining Hachette brings, and feel strongly that this is a unique opportunity for me to bring my skills and experience to a top-flight management team in a symbiotic way,” stated Mangan.
