Jocelyn Schmidt has received a promotion, Henceforth, she will hold the position of vice president and associate publisher of Penguin Young Readers.
Schmidt first joined Penguin’s children’s publishing team back in 2010. Just prior to this development, she served as the vice president and executive director of brand management.
Schmidt will offer support to the various publishers, communicate with the sales and marketing divisions, and continue to oversee the brand department. She will report directly to Jen Loja, the newly appointed president.
