Job Moves at Quirk Books, Atavist Books, & Penguin Young Readers Group

Quirk-Books-logoA number of publishing job changes have been announced recently.

Nicole DeJackmo has received a promotion and will henceforth serve as an associate director of publicity and marketing at Quirk Books. She will continue to oversee promotional campaigns and manage a marketing team.

Alexis Gargagliano has been named executive editor at Atavist Books. She will specialize in acquiring literary fiction and nonfiction manuscripts for her list.

Namrata Tripathi has joined Dial Books for Young Readers, an imprint at Penguin Young Readers Group, as an editorial director. In the past, she has worked with Printz Award winner John Corey WhaleyOlivia picture book series creator Ian Falconer, and Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day author Judith Viorst.
