By Jason Boog

scholasticlogo.jpgOn a dark and stormy morning in NYC, we’ve uncovered four new publishing jobs. Like a hardboiled gumshoe, GalleyCat has been investigating publishing work on the mediabistro.com job boards. For your resume-making pleasure, here are the new postings.

First of all, Holiday House needs an Executive Editor. Secondly, MJF Books Acquisitions Associate. Next, the The Energy Project Sr Manager, Social Media Marketing to help with “the launch of bestselling author’s latest business book.”

Finally, for all the coders in the audience, Scholastic is looking for a Senior eCommerce Application Developer. Here’s more about the job: “The Application Development team is responsible for the coding and integrating of the various applications running on the diverse web site. It works closely with the Project Management Office on approved scheduled projects.”
