Joanne DeMaio & Patti DeNucci Win IndieReader Discovery Awards

Joanne DeMaio‘s Whole Latte Life won first place in the IndieReader Discovery Awards’ fiction category this year. Patti DeNucci‘s The Intentional Networker took the nonfiction prize.

IndieReader founder Amy Edelman and author Darcie Chan announced the winners of the first annual contest at BEA. Altogether, seven books were recognized. 

Qwantu Amaru‘s One Blood placed second in the fiction category. Dr. Richard A Oppenlander‘s Comfortably Unaware placed second in the nonfiction category. Katelyn Sinclair‘s The Golden Ball, a children’s chapter book, snatched third place in the fiction category. Robert Orfali‘s two self-help books, Grieving a Soulmate and Death with Dignity, tied for third place in the nonfiction category.
