garth coverActress Jennie Garth has landed a book deal with Penguin’s New American Library (NAL) imprint. She will be working with writer Emily Heckman on this project.

The publisher plans to release Deep Thoughts From a Hollywood Blonde on April 1, 2014. Senior editor Jennifer Schuster negotiated the deal with Randy James of James/Levy Management.

Here’s more from The Hollywood Reporter: “Garth first gained fame by playing Kelly Taylor for 10 seasons on the Aaron Spelling-created soap, Beverly Hills, 90210. She also appeared in The CW revival and toplined the WB sitcom What I Like About You alongside Amanda Bynes. The book news comes after Garth’s former 90210 co-star Jason Priestley announced his memoir two months ago, which, at the time, generated widespread attention.”
