murakami304Earlier this year, Haruki Murakami added “advice columnist” to his résuméEntertainment Weekly reports that since the launch of this venture, the beloved Japanese author has answered 3,716 questions.

Shinchosa, a publishing house based in Japan, selected 473 of Murakami’s responses to be featured in a print book. The company also compiled all 3,716 of Murakami’s replies for the digital edition of this book; this enormous amount of content filled eight different volumes.

Unfortunately for Murakami’s English-speaking fans, this work is currently only available to Japanese language readers. According to The Guardian, the publisher does not currently have plans to translate Murakami-san no Tokoro into English.
