Has the world been taken over with “English mania?

Back in 2009, entrepreneur Jay Walker gave a TED talk about “why two billion people around the world are trying to learn English.” Arabic language advocate Suzanne Talhouk argues that regardless of this worldwide trend, no culture should “kill” its own language.
