Interactive Alice in Wonderland

By Dianna Dilworth

aliceDevelopers at Webpgr.com have taken Lewis Carol’s classic novel Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and turned it into a single interactive web page that can be read chapter by chapter. They are calling it The Millennium Fulcrum Edition 3.0.

The entire book lives in columns on one page. It looks like an online microform. Each chapter lives in its own column. Readers can click on the chapter that they’d like to read and the page will zoom into that chapter and readers can scroll down on the page to read the entire chapter.

If you’d like to create your own book in this format, check out Webpgr.com. The site is currently in closed beta, but you can request access on the site. Check it this video for more details.
