Have you ever wanted to go on a J.R.R. Tolkien-themed adventure? A group of Lord of the Rings enthusiasts have launched an indiegogo campaign hoping to “Realise Minas Tirith.”
The team aims to erect “a beautiful, inspirational and fully-functioning replica of Peter Jackson’s depiction of Minas Tirith, as seen in his Lord of the Rings films.” The fundraising goal has been set at £1,850,000,000 GBP.
The team plans to build both “both residential and commercial properties” in this version of Minas Tirith. They intend to launch construction in late 2016 and finish the project in 2023.
