BookHampton, the indie bookstore on Main Street in East Hampton, has reopened after being closed for renovations.
Local civic leader Carolyn Brody purchased the book store from from its previous owner Charline Spektor back in March and has since redecorated, restocked and opened in time for the summer season.
“I am thrilled to continue the wonderful legacy of this bookstore. We’ve opened up the space, added more bookshelves, and refurbished throughout,” said Brody in a statement. “I think everyone will find something they love here, and I couldn’t ask for a more responsive community.”
