Humans of New York blogger and author Brandon Stanton shot and released two photographs of Hillary Clinton. On Facebook, the first image received more than 474,000 “likes” and the second image drew over 709,000 “likes.” The post embedded above features the first photo profiling the former Secretary of State.
In 2015, Stanton has also photographed the 44th President of the United States Barack Obama. Earlier this year, Stanton wrote an open letter to Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump. According to The Huffington Post, it has become one of the most-shared Facebook posts in the history of the social network.
Here’s an excerpt: “I am a journalist, Mr. Trump. And over the last two years I have conducted extensive interviews with hundreds of Muslims, chosen at random, on the streets of Iran, Iraq, and Pakistan. I’ve also interviewed hundreds of Syrian and Iraqi refugees across seven different countries. And I can confirm— the hateful one is you.”
