Huffington Post Writers’ Boycott List Assembled

By Jason Boog

Author and journalist Lauri Lebo is collecting names of writers supporting a writers’ boycott of The Huffington Post.

Following AOL’s purchase of The Huffington Post, the Guild Freelancers launched a Facebook page called “Hey Arianna, Can You Spare a Dime?” last month. The page earned 1,285 Facebook likes as writers joined a protest of the site’s use of unpaid contributors. The Newspaper Guild has since called for unpaid writers to strike.

Here’s more from the site: “I am updating our list of people who have agreed to honor the writers’ boycott. Would those folks who haven’t emailed me please drop me a note confirming that you are a supporter. Also, please note whether you have blogged for Huffington Post in the past.”
