The holiday shopping season is almost upon us and for those of you that would like to give the gift of digital reading there are a number of ways to go about it. Yes you can give a gift card to your friend’s favorite eBook store, but you can also make it more personal and pick titles for them to read through Barnes & Noble, Kobo, and Kindle.
Amazon, Barnes & Noble and Kobo all let you give a specific eBook book to a specific person and have it delivered at a defined date and time. You have to look for the ‘Give as a Gift’ button in the Kindle Store, the ‘Buy as a Gift’ button in the Nook Store and the ‘Send as a Gift’ page in the Kobo Store. Each will require the recipient’s email address.
