Authors Raise Money for Henryville Tornado Victims

By Dianna Dilworth

Indiana authors are banding together to help rebuild Henryville, Indiana, a small town which was recently hit by an F4 tornado.

To help the town, authors are hosting an auction and a raffle. Their blog explains more: “We had hoped to donate directly to the Henryville Schools, but the logistics of that became too difficult and the needs of the entire town are too dire to delay. So – all monies are going to aid Henryville tornado victims through the Red Cross.”

To participate, supporters can bid on different books and freebies including: Jeff Weigel‘s Atomic Ace and the Robot Rampage (book & original art); Cynthia Willis‘ Buck Fever and Dog Gone; Angie Smibert‘s The Forgetting Curve (ARC) (and swag); Rebecca Kai Dotlich‘s Lemonade Sun; Matthew Cody‘s The Dead Gentleman and Powerless and many more. You can bid on these titles through tonight at 9pm ET. The next auction will begin on Wednesday morning. To enter the raffle, you must donate and tweet your donation amount with the hashtag #authors4henry.
