Last week HarperStudio publisher Bob Miller announced that he will leave HarperStudio to serve as Group Publisher at Workman Publishing.
In the interim, HarperStudio associate publisher Debbie Stier created a Formspring.me page to answer questions from readers. The feed has remained active this week, fielding questions about the imprint, the future, and publishing in general.
Most recently, one reader asked: “Is Harper Studio still accepting proposals &/or MSS through 2010, or is everything on hold?” Stier replied: “Feel free to submit to Julia Cheiffetz, but it’s probably safe to assume that we won’t make any decisions until after we make a plan for going forward.”
