The Women’s National Book Association is ready to celebrate its second annual National Reading Group Month, with a little bit of sponsorship/help from HarperPerennial, Hyperion, and Random House. This year’s big celebration is going to be an October 20 event at Seattle’s University Book Store, where local librarian Nancy Pearl will share the spotlight with novelists Diane Hammond and Nancy Horan.
If you’re not in Seattle, there are events in other cities throughout the month, or you could start your own reading group. If you get stuck, ask Book Club Girl for advice!
