Musician and YouTube star Hank Green plans to host a conference called NerdCon: Stories.
Hank, an internet personality who is famous for being one half of the sibling duo behind the VlogBrothers channel, intends for this to be a celebration of the power of storytelling. The video embedded above features Hank’s announcement about this event.
It will take place from October 9th to 10th at the Minneapolis Convention Center. Some of the authors who have signed on to appear include The Fault in Our Stars author John Green, Doll Bones author Holly Black, Ship Breaker author Paolo Bacigalupi, Brown Girl Dreaming author Jacqueline Woodson, Anna and the French Kiss author Stephanie Perkins, and The Mortal Instruments series author Cassandra Clare.
