Bookseller Half Price Books has launched a Book Beard tumblr page. They urged readers to imitate the catbearding photo trend, using books instead of cats.
You can share book beard photos on Instagram with the hashtag #BookBeard and will host weekly giveaways around book themes.
This week’s theme is “Book of Your Choosing, and/or Favorite Childhood Book.”
We spotted several children’s book submissions such as Beautiful Creatures by Margaret Stohl & Kami Garcia, Fantastic Mr. Fox by Roald Dahl, and Divergent by Veronica Roth.
Some of the adult titles featured include The Walking Dead: Rise of the Governor by Robert Kirkman & Jay Bonansinga, Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn, and Invisible Monsters Remix by Chuck Palahniuk.
