Gary Krebs confirmed that Friday would be his last day at Globe Pequot and that he would begin a new position as a group publisher at McGraw-Hill Professional in mid-April.
Krebs arrived at Globe Pequot in the spring of 2007, after a stint at Adams Media, where he rose to the executive director of publishing desk. His departure follows an uncomfortable stretch of bad finanical news for Morris Communications, the parent company of Globe Pequot, which recently announced salary cuts of 5 to 10 percent for all employees (beginning today, as it happens).
