We learned a few weeks ago (via his twitter feed) that figure skater Johnny Weir was shopping a book, and today Gallery Books announced that they bought it.
From the announcement: “His as of yet untitled book will be a collection of wildly entertaining anecdotes and essays about everything from pop culture to skating to fashion to Johnny himself.”
The deal was negotiated by Dan Strone at Trident Media Group, with Tara Modlin of Fireworks Sport Marketing. Look for it on shelves in January 2011, and, of course, keep your eye on his Twitter feed for updates.
