OverDrive has selected Friday Sept. 18 as International Read an E-Book Day.
“Read an e-Book Day is a celebration of modern storytelling,” explains the event’s website. “Be a part of the festivities by checking out your favorite e-book from your library and join the conversation below by sharing what you’re reading and stories about why you love e-books.”
OverDrive, the company that powers digital distribution for libraries and schools across the country, is hoping that readers will participate and share what they are reading along with the hashtag #eBookLove on social media. The event site even has recommendations if you can’t figure out what to read.
