At the Hotel Pennsylvania tomorrow and Sunday, Project Cicero will be holding its seventh annnual book fair for New York City schoolteachers and librarians. Using New and barely-used books acquired during its annual book drives and through donations by publishers, the project has given away nearly 800,000 books in the last seven years. I very foolishly forgot to mention this at the beginning of the week, so you publishers could send them some books from your stockroom before the event, but it’s still possible to visit the Project Cicero website and buy some of the books on their Amazon.com wish list…and, of course, your donated are actually quite welcome all year round!
