Forest Whitaker (pictured, via) has signed on for a role in the Labyrinth film adaptation. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the story comes from Randall Sullivan’s 2002 book, LAbyrinth: A Detective Investigates the Murders of Tupac Shakur and Notorious B.I.G., the Implication of Death Row Records’ Suge Knight, and the Origins of the Los Angeles Police Scandal.
Whitaker will star alongside Johnny Depp in this project. Brad Furman will serve as the director of this movie and Christian Contreras wrote the script.
