Novak (pictured, via) will commemorate this venture by headlining a reading event at the 52nd Street School in Los Angeles; it will take place on April 7. All student attendees will receive a free copy of The Book With No Pictures.

Novak gave this statement in the press release: “The most moving thing to me about The Book With No Pictures is seeing kids of all backgrounds responding identically to the power of the written word. Laughter is universal, and literacy should be too.”
