Photographer Lauren Zurchin (pictured, via) has lined up fourteen well-known fantasy fiction writers for a charity calendar.
At the moment, Zurchin is fundraising on Kickstarter to cover the cost of producing this calendar. Once the calendar has been assembled and marketed, the proceeds will be donated to First Book and Worldbuilders.
The group of participating authors include The Spiderwick Chronicles author Holly Black, Etiquette & Espionage author Gail Carriger, Mortal Instruments author Cassandra Clare, Fallen Saga author Lauren Kate, Wicked series author Gregory Maguire, Fablehaven series author Brandon Mull, Delirium trilogy author Lauren Oliver, The Inheritance Cycle author Christopher Paolini, The Name of the Wind author Patrick Rothfuss, Wheel of Time series author Brandon Sanderson, Otherland series author Tad Williams and “The Merry Sisters of Fate” (Blood Magic author Tessa Gratton, The Raven Boys author Maggie Stiefvater and Paper Valentine author Brenna Yovanoff).
