Disney has unveiled a teaser trailer for Maleficient.
The film stars Angelina Jolie in the title role and Elle Fanning as Princess Aurora. According to The Huffington Post, a release date has been scheduled for May 30, 2014.
The Facebook announcement has received more than 29,000 “likes.” For the animated Sleeping Beauty movie, Disney’s inspiration for this villain came from the “wicked fairy godmother” character who appears in Charles Perrault’s version of the fairy tale, “La Belle au bois dormant.”
