Disney's Animated Peter Pan (GalleyCat)With the success of live-action movies such as Cinderella and Alice in Wonderland, Disney has revealed its plans to shoot a new Peter Pan film adaptation. According to The Wrap, David Lowery has come on board as the director.

Here’s more from Variety: “Disney’s 1953 animated classic is still the most successful adaptation of the J.M. Barrie novel about the boy who couldn’t age. Sony’s Hook, starring Robin Williams and directed by Steven Spielberg, underperformed in 1991, considering the players involved, and last year’s Pan bombed.”
