Disney plans to adapt the Jack And The Beanstalk fairy tale for a movie called Gigantic; the company made the announcement over the weekend at the D23 fan expo. According to TIME, “Jack will discover not just one castle and one giant but a whole new world, beginning with a 60-ft.-tall 11-year-old girl named Inma.”
Deadline reports that Nathan Greno will serve as the director. Dorothy McKim will serve as a producer. Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez have signed on to compose original music for this project.
