Digital Writing Community Widbook Marks 200,000 Members

widbookDigital writing community Widbook, a collaborative online destination that lets users read, write and publish eBooks, now has more than 200,000 users. The company reached the milestone this month.

“We are really happy about what we have achieved. In our community, readers and writers find the chance to have their stories told and read by an audience from all continents,” explained Flavio Aguiar, CEO of Widbook, in a statement. “With this incentive, we strive to further develop the platform so as to always offer a top-notch user experience. Widbook will bring great new developments in 2014.”

The tool is great for collaborative writing as you can co-write books with other writers in different locations. The editor tool lets users invite others to participate in the content and add their own text and edits. In addition, users can add videos, links, photos and illustrations to help make the book more interactive. Writers can share their works with the community of readers to solicit feedback or build an audience.
