Director Luc Besson opened his adaptation of the steampunk comic book, Les Aventures extraordinaires d’Adele Blanc-Sec (The Extraordinary Adventures of Adele Dry-White), in France last week. The English-subtitled trailer embedded above has comic book fans around the globe excited.
Fantagraphics Books will release the first volume of Jacques Tardi’s comic book series in English soon, but the film’s U.S. distribution is still uncertain.
