Crown Publishing Group Names Four New VPs

The Crown Publishing Group, a division of Penguin Random House, has named four publicity directors as vice presidents.

Here are the directors, with their new titles: VP, director of publicity Tammy Blake (Crown Archetype, Harmony, Crown Forum, and Three Rivers Press imprints), VP, director of marketing & publicity Tara Gilbride (Crown Business imprint), VP, director of publicity Annsley Rosner (Crown Publishers, Hogarth, and Broadway Books imprints) and VP, director of publicity Kate Tyler (Clarkson Potter imprint).

In addition, Heather Jackson has been named executive editor and vice president at the Harmony Books imprint. Dominick V. Anfuso has come on board at the Crown Archetype imprint as executive editor and vice president.

Matt Inman will serve as editor for the Crown Archetype and Three Rivers Press imprints. All three editors will report to Mauro DiPreta, editor-in-chief and vice president of Crown Archetype.

A number of publishers have announced promotions and hirings this past week.

Perseus Distribution has brought on Heidi Sachner as vice president of client services. Sachner has been with the comapny for the past two years. Libby Powell will move from Teachers College Press to take on the role of client services manager. Throughout her career, Powell has held positions at John Wiley & Sons and Houghton Mifflin Harcourt.

Lucy Silag is the new community & engagement manager of Penguin Random House’s Book Country. Formerly, Silag served as a publicist for the Tandem Literary Publicity & Marketing Firm.

Joe Macavage was promoted to a new position, director of fulfillment operations for HarperCollins’ United States arm. Macavage has been at the company for more than twenty years.
