Cory Booker, the former mayor of Newark and the Democratic senator from New Jersey, has signed a book deal with Ballantine Bantam Dell.
The book, entitled United, will be Booker’s vision of how to revitalize the American dream and will share insight into his policy ideas. “We’ve advanced to where we are today thanks to countless Americans who united together with an unrelenting determination to overcome challenges, seize opportunities and leave our country a better place for the next generation,” Booker said in a statement. “I am excited to have the opportunity to share stories and ideas that I believe are important if we as a nation are to continue to advance together.”
Philly.com reported the news about the book pointing out Booker’s affinity for social media. The senator quipped about the news item on Twitter.
