Clive Barker Art Book Featured on Kickstarter

By Maryann Yin

Olympian Publishing founder Thomas Negovan hopes to raise $35,000 on kickstarter for a book entitled Imaginer: The Art of Clive Barker. Negovan intends to include more than 75 art pieces in the finished 160-page book.

Reportedly, this will be the first comprehensive volume profiling the artwork of Clive Barker. This book is meant to accompany the “Clive Barker: IMAGINER” art show which will open on January 18, 2014. We’ve embedded a video about the project above. Here’s more from the Kickstarter page:

“There have been marginal explorations of Clive’s artwork in the past, but the most important part of this project is that the book is composed of entirely ALL NEW and ULTRA HIGH RESOLUTION image captures.  The detail is impeccable, and Clive flatteringly declared the difference in detail of the new captures compared to previously printed ones like the difference between “chalk and cheese”.  (Which means they’re really, really good!)”
