Chronicle Books held a bake sale following the destruction of Typhoon Haiyan.
During this event, the staff moved $1526 worth of pastries and homemade treats. The San Francisco-based publishing house pledged to match these funds.
Altogether, they were able to donate $3052 to the Philippine Red Cross. Last year, the company hosted a similar fundraiser for Hurricane Sandy relief efforts.
