Chris Anderson Joins the Mediabistro Circus

Wired editor Chris Anderson, who has shifted his attention from exploring the long tail to championing the power of free, has now been confirmed as the keynote speaker for the upcoming Mediabistro Circus, a two-day panel on the future of media mediabistro.com is hosting in New York in late May.

The conference’s opening panel will focus on publishing’s shift from print to online models, featuring short talks by 8020 CEO Paul Cloutier, Edutopia editor James Daley, and economist.com publisher Ben Edwards. Other portions of the schedule are devoted to blogging, video, mobile media, and user experience design, and then there’s closing remarks by information technology journalist Nicholas Carr.
