A trailer has been unleashed for the Trumbo film adaptation. The video embedded above offers glimpses of Bryan Cranston taking on the lead role of Dalton Trumbo.

According to Slate, some of the other cast members include Diane Lane, John Goodman, and Louis C.K. A limited theatrical release date has been scheduled for November 6.

Deadline reports that this movie recounts how Trumbo took on “the U.S. government and studio bosses in a war over words and freedom, which entangled everyone in Hollywood from Hedda Hopper (Helen Mirren) and John Wayne to Kirk Douglas and Otto Preminger.” The story for this biopic is based on Bruce Cook’s 1977 biography, Trumbo: A Biography of the Oscar-Winning Screenwriter Who Broke the Hollywood Blacklist.
