brookewarnerBrooke Warner, founder of Warner Coaching Inc., a service for writers, is speaking at our upcoming Self-Publishing Intensive, a three-week virtual intensive dedicated to publishing your own book.

During her presentation, Warner will be giving advice on how to make sure your manuscript is ready for publication. In preparing for the session, we asked her to share a tip for self-published authors. Here is what she said:

My number one tip for self-pubbed authors is to make sure they have a team. Self-published authors need an editor, a designer, and a marketing and/or publicity person. When it comes to self-publishing, authors shouldn’t go it alone, nor should they try to reinvent the wheel. There are so many good experts out there who will help ensure that you have a beautiful finished product. Don’t try to do it all yourself!
