Brie Larson may play the titular superhero of the Captain Marvel movie. The Oscar-winning actress has become well-known for starring in the Room film adaptation.
Here’s more from Variety: “No director is currently on board. Marvel, however, had always planned to have an actress lined up early, with the idea of possibly introducing her in one of its upcoming films before its ‘Captain Marvel’ movie bows.”
According to Vanity Fair, Nicole Perlman and Meg LeFauve will collaborate together to write the script. Marvel Entertainment has scheduled the theatrical release date for March 8, 2019. (via Comic Book Resources)
