As oil leak spreads in the Gulf, one journalist sold a book about British Petroleum in a “major six-figure deal.”
St. Martin’s Press bought journalist Mike Magner’s book about the oil company, Publishers Weekly reports. Ronald Goldfrab from Goldfarb & Associates negotiated the deal with executive editor Michael Flamini.
Here’s more about the journalist: “[Magner] been researching BP for a number of years, focusing on allegations that the company has been involved in various cases of pollution.”
