For a chain that’s supposed to be shutting its UK operation down soon, Borders certainly keeps chugging along with new initiatives. The Bookseller reports that the bookstore chain’s latest move is to introduce a Polish language section to three of its stores ahead of a roll-out across the entire business later this year. Birmingham, London Oxford Street and Southampton are the first to stock more than 100 Polish language titles, the first of which will be Jeremy Clarkson‘s THE WORLD ACCORDING TO CLARKSON. Graham Eaves, non-fiction buyer at Borders said: “We hope by introducing Polish language titles we can help Poles settle into the community whether it’s with a guide to British life or observations on the Germans from Jeremy Clarkson.”
