Borders has set up a book club program with that will recommend four new titles monthly (each at 20% off), with the first round going to Kiran Desai‘s Booker Prize-winning The Inheritance of Loss, Timothy Egan‘s National Book Award-winning The Worst Hard Times, Marisa de los Santos‘ Love Walked In, and Looking for Alaska by John Green. Reading group guides and other supplementary materials will be available in Borders and Waldenbooks stores, as well as at the Borders Book Club website, and readers can also discuss the books in an online discussion group created by Gather.com.
