lotrradiocity.JPGHappy Monday! The autumn season brings crunchy leaves, pumpkin treats, and lots of literary events to look forward to. Here are some gathered in today’s Booked feature.

The music score of Howard Shore will be played by a 300-musician live orchestra at a Radio City Music Hall concert with the film adaptation of J.R.R. Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers rolling in the background. The concert event will take place on October 8th & 9th starting at 7:30pm. (New York, NY)

Margaret Atwood will be headlining a 92Y event kicking off the venue’s 72nd season on Monday, September 20th. She will be reading from her latest novel, The Year of the Flood starting at 8pm. (New York, NY)

Louie Centanni will be having a book signing on Sunday, October 3rd from 4pm to 7pm at Lestat’s Coffee House. (San Diego, CA)

Franz Wright will read at The Art Institute of Chicago on Thursday, September 30th starting at 6pm. Admission is free. (Chicago, IL)
