Book-Inspired Purses

By Dianna Dilworth

purseBooks are inspiring high-end hand bag designers, who are designing clutches that look like books. The Little Wonder Book Boats by Beatrice J. Hurley, Paperboats A Sailing by Jennifer Just and Surgeon of the Seas by Charles S. Foltz have all been adapted into handbags this season. Olympia Le-Tan is selling these bags.

E Online has created a DIY guide on how to turn a hardcover book into a purse. All you need is an old hardcover, a ruler, some glue, an X-Acto knife, a clasp, and a glue brush.
